Our photography style is a blend of candid and photojournalistic documentation of your day with plenty of direction and guidance to make you feel comfortable during more “posed” moments like family and couple portraits. We find a balance between taking beautiful and romantic wedding photos and not having your wedding day feel like it’s one big photoshoot.

Our work starts long before your wedding day. We work hard to be clear in my emails and timely with my responses. To us, our communication with clients and the experience of working with us is just as important as the photos that we deliver. Do you shoot engagement sessions?

Yes! We love working with couples before their wedding day. It’s a great opportunity to get to know each other and for couples to have some exposure to being in front of a camera. It’s also a fun way to highlight your life together in Portland. There are so many great locations like Mt. Tabor, Powell Butte, and the International Rose Test Garden.

What are your favorite wedding venues in POrtland?

As natural light photographers we love shooting outdoor weddings. We put together a list of some of our favorites here. Portland venues like Cathedral Park, Hoyt Arboretum, and Abernethy Center are all amazing. There are also plenty of indoor venues with great natural light too such as The Evergreen, Ecotrust, and Castaway.
