My Approach to Wedding Photography

My photography style is a mix of candid and photojournalistic documentation of your day with plenty of direction and guidance to make you feel comfortable during more “posed” moments like family and couple portraits.

I find a balance between taking beautiful and romantic wedding photos and not having your wedding day feel like it’s one big photoshoot. My priority is that I document your day as it happens in a stress free and easy going way and let you enjoy your day celebrating with friends and family.

All of the photos I deliver to you are diligently edited. I want your wedding photos to look and feel true to your wedding day without any trendy presets or filters on top. I focus on an editing style that looks natural, full of light, contrast, and color.

Highlight Wedding Coverage

$2800

6 hours of Wedding Day coverage with 1 photographer. This is enough time to document last minute getting ready, ceremony, family portraits, reception and some dancing. I’ll deliver roughly 500-600 edited high resolution images via an online gallery.

Full Day Wedding Coverage

$3200

8 hours of Wedding Day coverage with 2 photographers. The perfect amount of time to document getting ready in 2 locations, details, first look, ceremony, family and wedding party portraits, reception, and dancing. I’ll deliver roughly 700-800 edited high resolution images via an online gallery.

Engagement Photo Packages

Engagement photos are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day and it’s a nice way to document your lives together in Portland. Engagement sessions also a great way for us to get to know one another before your wedding day. Portland has a lot of great locations for engagement photos and I put together a list of some of my favorite locations. My engagement sessions begin at $400 for a 1 hour session in Portland.

Wedding Album Pricing

I always recommend for folks to print their photos whether it’s in a photo album or just to hang on the fridge. It’s so easy to build up years of digital photos on your phone, the cloud, or an old hard drive. Photos are meant to be looked at and shared! Once you receive your full wedding gallery, I’ll take the photos that you want to include and create an album layout for you to proof online. My wedding albums start at $389.
