About Chris and Jenny
We’ve been working together for almost a decade! Shortly after our relationship began, Jenny started helping Chris with his photography business in the Bay Area and then in Portland. While Chris has always been professional and approachable, Jenny brought her signature aesthetic vision and her well known ability to add just a bit “extra” to every job we take on. She thinks of the little things (like bringing toothpicks, combs and a mirror to our headshot shoots) and has been known to build rapport easily and help with things like bra adjustments and shoe straps! We have always worked well together (we even ran a successful preschool together) and this is apparent from when we first arrive on site or during our first phone calls. We love that we get to work together and are always excited to get to be a part of such a foundational moment in people’s lives.
Meet Chris

I love working with people and making them feel comfortable in front of the camera. It’s always so rewarding when people who’ve previously told me that they aren’t photogenic or don’t like having their photo taken end up loving the photos we took together.
I’ve always loved looking at old family photos and remembering moments. I get really happy when I think about my clients looking at their photos that I’ve taken for them and I approach every shoot with that in the back of my mind.
I’ve been a professional photographer since 2006 when I started a photography studio in the Bay Area with my close friend (see e&b photography). Over the years, I’ve documented countless weddings and photographed families, high school seniors, and small business owners. Years later, I moved to Portland to be near my family and watch my niece and nephews grow up. When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with them, running our preschool with Jenny, or waking up early to go on a hike.

Jenny is a former social worker turned teacher turned wedding business pro!
I have always loved connecting with people and putting together events. Family party? I am there taking the theme to the next level. Work potluck? Guess who is bringing dishes, decor and flowers from home to elevate the set up. I truly believe that a little planning and a few extra flourishes can make the difference between a beautiful memory and just another day.
I am excited that I have a professional outlet that allows my love for aesthetics, logistics and the outdoors to really shine and help make your wedding day memorable.
