I love photography, especially wedding photography, and I really do feel lucky that I get to do something creative and something that I love as a job. I love working with people and making them feel comfortable in front of the camera. It’s always so rewarding when people who’ve previously told me that they aren’t photogenic or don’t like having their photo taken end up loving the photos we took together.
I’ve always loved looking at old family photos and remembering moments. I get really happy when I think about my clients looking at their photos that I’ve taken for them and I approach every shoot with that in the back of my mind.
I’ve been a professional photographer since 2006 when I started a photography studio in the Bay Area with my close friend (see e&b photography). Over the years, I’ve documented countless weddings and photographed families, high school seniors, and small business owners. Years later, I moved to Portland to be near my family and watch my niece and nephews grow up. When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with them, running our new preschool with Jenny, or waking up early to go on a hike.

Meet Jenny

Jenny’s my best friend and partner. She helps me with weddings and elopements but behind the scenes she’s a big player in everything I do. Running a business and staying motivated is hard work and I couldn’t do it without her.

Guess who is bringing dishes, decor and flowers from home to elevate the set up. I truly believe that a little planning and a few extra flourishes can make the difference between a beautiful memory and just another day.
