I provide portrait and headshot photography throughout Portland and the Pacific Northwest. Don’t be afraid to practice

Being in front of a camera can sometimes be an awkward thing but knowing what facial expressions you like and how to achieve them can give you an added confidence boost. Don’t be embarrassed to try them out in front of a mirror before your shoot. I’ll also work with you during your shoot to move in and out of more natural expressions.

SHOW ME your “best” side

Whether it’s true or not we all feel like we have that one side that’s just better so let’s embrace it. I appreciate when clients tell me about things they like or don’t like in photos or things that they feel a little self conscious about. Knowing those details helps me to create photos that you’re going to love.

Be Yourself

I always encourage folks to be themselves and to think of their headshots or portraits as a genuine representation of themselves. Wear what you normally would to work or a business casual event. If you regularly wear makeup don’t feel like you need to apply more than normal for it to show up in photos.
